Amazing Black Robin!

One mysterious blazing hot day on Mangere Island lived the rarest bird called the Black Robin. I heard that it was nearly extinct but then someone saved them Dr Don Merton and there were only 5 more Black Robins. Their body is pitch black and there beaks are greyish and little bit white. The Black Robin is so scruffy and fluffy and they have furious looking black eyes. It is chubby as a baby. Now there are only 250 Black Robins in the world. The Black Robins are endemic which means Black Robins were always here. Black Robins lay eggs and Black Robins eat grubs, wetas and insects. The Maori name is Toutouwai.
