Spirit Animals

In D5 we have been reading "SPIRIT ANIMALS", a popular imaginary book written by Brandon Mulls. The children have used the author's style to write some imaginary stories.

Michael the Lion

After one magnificent day I was excited because I had summoned a lion as my spirit animal. My shoulders started moving and suddenly I had a tattoo of the lion on my left shoulder. I decided to call him Michael, he looked so cute like a baby lion. I can communicate with my spirit animal by hearing him roar 1000 metres away. Michael is the best spirit animal I ever had.

 

Nectar ceremony

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Aloysius. He was 11years old and he was tall. One day he was walking along this path and while he was walking he saw a lion. When he saw it he stopped and stared. When he was staring he was scared. After that the lion followed him to the Nectar ceremony and when they got there everyone stopped and said "Is that the lion on our flag?" and he said "Yes his name is Lewis, the lion king of our world". After that we heard a sound like an earthquake and we heard a boom and a bang. When it was finished everyone opened the doors and looked outside and all they saw was nothing. All of it was dark - the whole world was dark.

My Nectar Ceremony

One sunny day on my 11th birthday I went to my ceremony because on every 11th birthday we have a ceremony to see who can call a spirit animal. And so it was my turn to have a ceremony and to test the nectar and try to call a spirit animal. When my dad passed the nectar to me, I took a sip and it tasted like honey with sweet candy. After that my heart was joyful. And after that I was feeling a bit strange - my heart beat fast and I felt hot then something appeared. It was a bull with black and red that died in the olden days his name was James Crichton. His  power was lighting and water. He helped me with fighting the bad people.

Spirit Animals

One cold afternoon I woke up and went outside to see my dad. Then my dad give me a medicine drink. It tasted like sweet syrup and when I tasted it my skin was tingling. Suddenly my spirit animal appeared and the colour was black and yellow with a red mark. It was a great lion.
